01 Sep Exciting Times & Updates to Report in Franklin, Muskego & More!
I am very happy to report that we are making some really nice progress at our newest Cornerstone Development community, The Glen at Park Circle in Franklin! The roads are now going in and then we can start digging. All of this puts us on a nice track to have a model that people will be able to come and see likely by early 2019. But at the very least, the roads will be done any day now so people can actually drive through and get a sense for how beautiful this new neighborhood is going to be.
Once you drive through and form that mental picture of this neighborhood’s layout, you can also get a good feel for how these new condominium homes will look by visiting two of our other neighborhoods: The Glen of Greenfield (open every day) at 116th and Howard Avenue or, check out the Villas at Maplewood Terrace in downtown Sussex. These will give you a good sense for how we build in terms of style and quality. Just go the open model in either neighborhood. Our representatives will be happy to give you the information you need and to show you around! In Greenfield, you should stop in at the Clubhouse and they’ll be happy to help you and answer all of your questions while in Sussex, go first to the model.
One of the things that really excites us about The Glen at Park Circle is the fact that there will be several great gathering places for people who live in the neighborhood. There will be plenty of open green space and a pavilion in a beautiful, park-like setting. We’re also working on getting a pickle ball court and that’s a great game that anybody can play. It’s going to be a super neighborhood.
Another element to this whole project that is both satisfying and gratifying is the fact the officials with the City of Franklin have truly embraced The Glen at Park Circle because there is just not enough of this style of housing – very low maintenance – available in their city or, quite frankly, anywhere else on the south side in the Greater Milwaukee Area. There is a real need for these types of neighborhoods and they saw what we saw that this is a special opportunity in a special location for their city.
Every time we build a new condominium home community, we try to improve the way we lay out our homes to give them that bright, open and airy feel that has become so popular. The days of just having a living room that doesn’t get used are gone. What we end up are great rooms, sun rooms, dens and open, airy, bright kitchens. That’s what you will see in any of our homes. The Glen at Park Circle will offer 54 side-by-side condominium homes. Size-wise, they will range from 1,700 to 2,000 square feet so they are a very nice size. We can finish the lower levels if the buyers wish and these homes start in the mid-$300,000s. So it’s a nice value for a brand new home where you will meet new neighbors and you’ll get your new home the way you want it which is really fun in new construction.
When you look at a map of Milwaukee you can kind of see where the continuance of exciting and new layouts and new neighborhoods are going to be. You can see it in Menomonee Falls, you can see it here in Sussex and in Muskego. You just get that great feeling of energy and you can certainly see it in Franklin, too. The access to Highway 94 is tremendous and you can easily get to downtown Milwaukee.
Plus, Franklin has so much to offer! They have The Rock Sports Complex and that whole entertainment area there with the baseball going on. There are new restaurants popping up. So, Franklin is jumping and we really love to build in communities like Franklin, Greenfield, Sussex, and Cedarburg where you get a real sense of electricity and new things are going down.
I’m frequently asked for updates on our other planned upcoming communities as well as completely new areas under consideration. We are always looking for more new and exciting areas in which to build including Germantown, Pewaukee, and Hartland. Brookfield (The Glen at Woodside Creek) and Muskego (The Glen at Pellmann Farm) neighborhoods are also in the works and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our website visitors, particularly those who have reached out to us via our CHAT service and have been asking for these updates, particularly in regards to Muskego.
Thank you very much for your patience as we work out the final details in Muskego. I’m happy to announce that we will begin releasing homes in Muskego for sale within the next four weeks. As you know, we’ve had a waiting list but some people on the list may buy while others may not. So anyone who has interest in Muskego should definitely let us know and we will be in touch with you. We are going to pay credence to those who have been waiting for us to launch this new neighborhood and they will get first choice. We will see where it goes from there.
