Franklin’s ‘The Glen at Park Circle’ Now in Progress!

We’ve got BIG news from Franklin!  We’ve started moving dirt at Cornerstone Communities’ first neighborhood, The Glen at Park Circle! We are excited to team up with Neumann Development to bring forth this great lifestyle center.  So many of you have been champing at the bit and waiting for word on when this community of condominium homes will become a reality, and I am so happy to report that we are making great progress.  We are very excited and we believe we can potentially start building these new homes early this summer.

The location is a great one, just a bit south of the corner of South 76th Street at Ryan Road, just south of the Hideaway Pub and Eatery. We tuck in on the west side of 76th Street where our 54 new condominium homes will go. We like Franklin very much and there’s not much in the way of the kind of homes we build in that area, so we are going to serve a lot of fine people down there!

Many people have asked us, either via our CHAT service on our website or by calling us, to pass along some kind of a “sneak peek” about what these new homes are going to look like. When we start new neighborhoods, we like to take the “greatest hits” of what we’ve learned through the years and maybe tweak a bit and make our homes a little bit better. This especially includes what we’re hearing with respect to new trends.

If you want to get an idea of what the homes in The Glen at Park Circle will feel like, we invite you to check out and tour the model at The Woodlands of Greenfield, right off 117th and Beloit Road. You will at least get a better sense for our building quality, and the homes there are quite similar to those in Franklin. Plus, it’s pretty convenient to visit the Woodlands from Franklin, as it is not that far away.

Whenever we build a new neighborhood like this we like a nice mix of product so that the homes vary. Some people like two bedrooms, while others love two bedrooms and a sun room. Still others love two bedrooms, a sun room and a den.  Our homes are open and airy, and that’s always been an extremely popular feature.  The homes in Franklin will all be side-by-side duplexes. For the exteriors we will offer stone work with Hardie Plank cementitious siding at The Glen at Park Circle. This neighborhood is in a very nice setting and you’ll be very close to services, while still having the feel of being out in the country.

Again, we are so excited to announce progress with The Glen at Park Circle in Franklin and now that spring has finally arrived (knock on wood!) we are expecting interest in this community to really pick up in the coming weeks and months. We’re also excited to announce that our homes in The Woodlands of Greenfield have now SOLD OUT and there is only one home left at The Glen of Greenfield (116th and Howard Avenue). The remaining home is offered at $374,149 and has a gorgeous park-like view, so hurry!!

Finally, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention a couple of our other neighborhoods where you can view homes that are still available. We’ve got some real beauties at The Villas of Maplewood Terrace in Sussex available at a great value.  These are located right in downtown Sussex, across the street from the new Civic Center and just steps away from groceries, restaurants and the beautiful Bug Line walking and riding trail. It’s a bit hard to find a beautiful condominium home in the low $300,000s now in the Milwaukee area – but we still offer them!

Additionally, up in Cedarburg, we are just going great guns in The Glen at Cedar Creek. In the past two weeks we’ve reserved seven homes to purchase in that gorgeous neighborhood just south of the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway I (Sheboygan Road). When people get in and see our model it’s really resonating, because they see that the swimming pool is being started there and all of the building activity against such a beautiful natural setting, yet so very close to historic downtown Cedarburg.  Here we have a different premise that others aren’t offering — these are single-family homes with single-family lots encircling a big clubhouse and swimming pool, all with the hassle-free convenience of condominium-style maintenance services.
