21 Jun Grand Opening Looms at The Glen at Cedar Creek!
It’s been so exciting to see so many people waiting to see our model homes at The Glen at Cedar Creek. We will have the first open and ready for showing on June 30th, and it feels terrific to be able to show people how nice our homes really are. Hundreds of people have been waiting for this official Grand Opening and we’re looking forward to having a good crowd coming out to walk through the model as well as tour our beautiful new Clubhouse.
People will also be able to tour five or six other models that are still in the construction stage if they’re interested. What folks will notice right away is how open, airy and bright our homes are, how well thought out the floorplans are and how nice the finishing work complements the new lifestyle people will be able to enjoy in our homes. The homes feature nicely separated bedrooms and a sun room. We know these floorplans have been very popular in pre-ordering already and are truly special. There are so many people who want to see, touch and feel what these beautiful new single-family homes have to offer.
When you think about it, the concept of owning a single-family home with the added bonus of condominium maintenance services is really the way to go and is growing in popularity around the United States. Everybody has their own four walls and they’re responsible for those, but the added services such as lawn care, landscaping and snow removal are very appealing.
These homes truly offer a whole new lifestyle opportunity and they’re surrounded by such a beautiful natural setting just a stone’s throw from Cedarburg, one of Wisconsin’s premier cities. Lifestyle is truly the message here. Anybody can build a home, but at The Glen at Cedar Creek you have a gorgeous clubhouse, a pool, and great places to walk and enjoy the outdoors. And, thanks to the maintenance services, you will have more time to enjoy your new lifestyle while leaving a lot of the time consuming chores to somebody else.
The concept of offering single-family homes complete with maintenance services is one we intend to pursue with our future neighborhoods, too. This has been so well-received and we’re very excited about what we can do with this concept for years to come.
While we’re set for the Grand Opening at The Glen at Cedar Creek, three of our other neighborhoods have also been very well-received and are creating a lot of buzz. The Glen of Greenfield at 116th and Howard Avenue has been selling at a tremendous rate and 23 of the community’s 26 condominium homes are already taken! It’s been simply amazing how fast the homes in this neighborhood have sold.
Word is also quickly spreading about The Woodlands of Greenfield, a short distance away at south off 117th and Beloit Road. The Woodlands actually caught us a little off guard, it’s been so hot. We took over the neighborhood for building not very long ago and we’ve already sold seven of our homes there. I think the reason is that it’s such a beautiful location. You wouldn’t know you’re so close to all of the conveniences around you because it’s a tree-lined neighborhood. The floorplans are exciting with walkouts and lookouts which have really resonated with buyers. They recognize the value opportunity in a great location with floorplans that work.
In Sussex, we have The Villas at Maplewood Terrace. This is another neighborhood we recently took over, and it is right in the heart of Sussex. We’re excited because we’ve dug and have our first foundation already poured. This location is particularly well-suited for people who like to walk, and it’s very close to shopping, the grocery store and the Civic Center. There’s also a Bugline trail adjacent to the neighborhood. Downtown Sussex has so much going for it. Besides the Civic Center they are going to be putting in a beer garden, they’ll be offering outdoor movies and concerts. All that will be going on downtown right at the doorstep of The Villas at Maplewood Terrace. Sussex has quite a bit of the bigger city feel, yet offers much in the way of quaint, small town charm.
Finally, we’ve had many, many inquiries about next year’s neighborhood in Muskego, The Glen at Pellman Farm. In fact, we have an extended waiting list for this community, which is scheduled to open in 2018. We’re going to play credence and honor the fact that some people have been on the waiting list for a long time. So we’re going to honor the chronological order of interest as we release these homes for sale. We are making good progress in getting the engineering finalized in Muskego. Dirt is being hauled into this location and hopefully in the next month or two we can release addresses and start writing contracts.
